Toni Dougherty
Director, Early Childhood Education
Toni is the Early Childhood Education Director at the JCC, overseeing programs that serve children from 6 weeks to 12 years old, including the Early Childhood Center (ECC), Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK), and Kids Connection programs. She leads a dedicated team of educators, ensuring they receive ongoing training and support to maintain the highest standards in early childhood education. Toni is responsible for implementing developmentally appropriate curricula, maintaining compliance with state regulations, and fostering a nurturing environment where children thrive.
With 11 years of teaching experience, including three years mentoring fellow educators, Toni brings a wealth of knowledge to her role. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education and is nearing completion of a second degree in Human Development. Her expertise includes designing and delivering training sessions on child development, special needs, and behavior management for groups ranging from 15 to 200 participants. Passionate about building a strong, connected community, Toni is committed to ensuring that children, families, and educators feel valued and empowered at the JCC.
