Specialty Camp is a unique, two-week experience designed as an abbreviated version of Camp JCC, perfect for filling Weeks 7 and 8 of the summer. Campers will enjoy the best of camp in a condensed format, including exciting walking field trips and special experiences that keep each day fresh and engaging. While shorter in length, this program still offers plenty of outdoor time, hands-on exploration, and opportunities to build friendships—all while capturing the energy, spirit, and most importantly, the fun of a full camp season. Week 1 - August 24 - 28
Pick Group A or Group B at Registration
Group A Nature Adventure: Hiking, animals, and plants, oh my! Explore nature through visits to various local parks and nature preserves. Campers will take part in various crafts projects, while discovering nature on and off the JCC campus. Location Art Room 9:00-12:00, switches to Theatre 1:00-3:30.
Group B Dip N Dive: Whatever your swimming level, be it Starfish to Sharks or Sea Slugs to Dolphins, a love of the water is all that’s required. Take part in water activities in and out of the pool to improve your skills while having a blast! Location K.C Rm 9:00-12:00, switches to Fun and Games 1:00-3:30.
Week 2 - August 31 - September 4

Group A Adventures in Art: Create art in all different mediums inspired by adventures on and off campus. Location Art Room 9:00-12:00, switches to STEM 1:00-3:30

Group A Theater: Campers will investigate the world of theater through various drama games and exercises that activate their voices, bodies, and imagination. Location Auditorium 9:00-12:00, switches to Nature Adventure 1:00-3:30.
Group B Fun and Games: Campers work together to solve problems and complete fun challenges! Teams will be given unique prompts and use their own creativity to find a solution. Location K.C Rm 9:00-12:00, switches to Dip N Dive 1:00-3:30.
Week 2 - August 31 - September 4

Group A Nothing But Nets: All games net - Soccer, pickleball, tennis, basketball, street hockey & more! Whether a first-time player or long-time champ, we are here to ramp up your skills and cheer you on! Location Gym 9:00 - 12:00, switches to Dip N’ Dive 1:00-3:30
Group B STEAM: Campers will explore the world of science, technology, engineering, and art through various projects and wacky experiments. Location KC Room 9:00 - 12:00, switches to Adventures in Art 1:00 - 3:30 p.m.
Step 3: Need Before or After Care? No Problem!
Camp runs from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with campers welcome to arrive as early as 8:45 a.m. for a smooth start to the day. Choose before care, after care, or both to best fit your family’s schedule—spots are limited and fill quickly. Let the camp fun begin!
